1. | In a suitable container, pour the amount of tahini you want and add 3 parts lukewarm water. |
2. | The ratio is 1 part tahini to three parts water. |
3. | Increase the heat and until the mixture starts to boil, stir constantly, so that it dissolves well and does not stick. |
4. | Then lower the heat and let it simmer for about an hour, stirring occasionally. |
5. | Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to settle, for the tahini pieces to settle and the oil to rise. |
6. | Then strain the liquid with a strainer, rinse the tahini remnants with a little hot water, strain this with the rest of the juice and keep it for each use. |
7. | Discard the remains of the tahini. |
8. | This liquid-tahini water can be used for any food and sweet eating, i.e. oil-free, in cases of economy. |
