
| 1 water glass of corn oil | |
| 1 water glass of sugar | |
| 1 glass of lukewarm water | |
| 4 water cups of flour (or as much as you want) | |
| 2 tablespoons of cinnamon | |
| 2 teaspoons of baking powder | |
| 1 shot of good quality cognac | |
| ground sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling, (as needed) |
| 1. | In a suitable bowl, whisk the oil with the sugar. |
| 2. | Add half of the water while beating. |
| 3. | Add the flour in batches, baking powder, cognac, cinnamon and as much water as needed. |
| 4. | Mix very well to combine the mixture. |
| 5. | Grease a baking pan according to the quantity, sprinkle with a little flour and pour the mixture so that it spreads evenly over the entire surface. |
| 6. | Bake at 180o for about an hour. |
| 7. | Test it by piercing it with a fork or knife and if it comes out clean, then it is ready. |
| 8. | When you take it out of the oven, while it is still warm, sprinkle it with the icing sugar and cinnamon. |
