Ingredients

1 water glass of corn oil
1 water glass of sugar
1 glass of lukewarm water
4 water cups of flour (or as much as you want)
2 tablespoons of cinnamon
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 shot of good quality cognac
ground sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling, (as needed)

Execution

1.In a suitable bowl, whisk the oil with the sugar.
2.Add half of the water while beating.
3.Add the flour in batches, baking powder, cognac, cinnamon and as much water as needed.
4.Mix very well to combine the mixture.
5.Grease a baking pan according to the quantity, sprinkle with a little flour and pour the mixture so that it spreads evenly over the entire surface.
6.Bake at 180o for about an hour.
7.Test it by piercing it with a fork or knife and if it comes out clean, then it is ready.
8.When you take it out of the oven, while it is still warm, sprinkle it with the icing sugar and cinnamon.
